Orville Gene Hessee, 57, Springfield, Mo., died May 12, 1999 in his home. Orville was born Dec. 10, 1941, in Springfield, MO.,; was a Korean War U.S. Army veteran; a member of Grant Avenue Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Judy; a daughter, Judy Ann Gardner; a step-daughter, Angela Lamb; nine grandchildren; his father Robert Delmer Hessee; his mother, Virginia Dale Delp; a brother Don. M. Hessee; and a sister, Carol J. Moore. He was preceded in death by two sons, Bradley Joe Hessee and Stacey Gene Hessee; a brother, Robert Dale Hessee; and his step-father, Lester A. Delp. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, May 17, 1999, in Springfield National Cemetery under direction of Greenlawn Funeral Home North.
