Carolyn Drake Hutchens, 45, Springfield, died at 9:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 6, 1996, in Cox Medical Center North. Mrs. Hutchens was born Oct. 6, 1950, in Springfield, to William Arthur and Colleen R. Damrun Mincks. She was a homemaker and a loving mother, wife and best friend. She is survived by her husband, Mike; four sons, Jeff Drake and his wife, Tonya, Marshfield, Aaron Drake and his wife, Yvonne, Hutchinson, Kan., Rob Drake, Bolivar, and William Hutchens, Springfield; her parents, Art and Colleen Mincks; a brother and his wife, Bill and Susan Mincks, Springfield; and four grandchildren, Sarah and Zachary Drake and Amber and Alex Venegas. Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 10, 1996, in Greenlawn Funeral Home North with Joe Bright officiating. The body will be cremated following services. Friends may call at their convenience after 4 p.m. today in the funeral home where visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. today.
