Marcus James Michael, 26, of 1046 East Villa Marie, died at 8 p.m. Sunday in Cox Medical Center after a long illness. Mr. Michael, a maintenance employee for the Springfield R-12 School District, attended Glad Tiding Assembly of God Church. Surviving are his wife, Patricia; a son, Sean Marcus, of the home; his parents, the Rev. and Mrs. Paul J. Michael, 2247 North Nettleton; two brothers, David, of Marshfield, and Richard, of 2247 North Nettleton; three sisters, Mrs. Carolyn Braden, Bruner, Mrs. Rebecca White, Springfield, and Miss Paul Michael, 2247 North Nettleton; his maternal grandmother, Mrs. Erma Low, Springfield; and his paternal grandmother, Mrs. Araminta Michael, Springfield. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Klingner Chapel with Rev. Wilford David officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery. [Spfd News Leader dated July 22, 1975; SSDI]
