About	Kerry L. Holder, 53, Springfield, died March 7, 2005, in Cox Medical Center South. He lost a long struggle with throat cancer and liver failure. Born April 5, 1951, he was the only son of Bob and Freeda Holder. He attended Springfield schools, graduating from Hillcrest High, and attended SMS. He was owner of Poor Man Trading Post, distributor of Coker tires. He was an auctioneer known across the U.S. for knowledge of antiques and is featured in books by various authors, and was an avid collector. A member of the Wheelman Club, he loved old cars, motorcycles, and attending swap meets. He was also an avid Nascar fan. He is survived by one son, James D. Holder; his fiancé, Anne Brown; his mother, Freeda Holder; one uncle, Robert Reeves; and many relatives and a host of friends, far and near. He was preceded in death by his father, Bob Holder. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, March 11, 2005, in Gorman-Scharpf Brentwood Chapel with Pastor Doug Berwick officiating. Burial will follow in Greene Lawn Cemetery, Walnut Grove, Mo., Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, in the funeral home.
