About	Mike Cunningham, 59, Springfield, Mo., went to be with his Lord on Thursday, August 2, 2001 in his home in Springfield. Mike was born in Springfield, MO., June 27, 1942. He graduated from Hillcrest High School in 1960. He was married to his wife Mary Margaret White on June 22, 1986 in Seattle, Wash. They returned to Springfield in 1994. Mike was employed with Carpet One as a salesman. He was preceded in death by his father, Syl Cunningham; his mother-in-law . Dorothy White; and his niece, Amy Cunningham. Mike was a loving husband, stepfather, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, and great uncle. He was a member of Elks Lodge 409 for 19 years. He never met a stranger. He was an avid sports fan and a catcher of the Hillcrest Hornets when they went to the State Tournament in 1960. Mike was a wise and gentle counselor for his family and his guidance will be missed beyond measure. He was deeply loved and is survived by his wife, Mary Margaret; step-daughter, Michele Beasley, of the home; stepson, Chris Beasley and his wife, Nikki of Edmonds, Wash., and twin granddaughters, Kelsey and Kayla Beasley; mother, Louise Cunningham; brother, Don Cunningham; nephew Matthew Cunningham and his wife, Kirstina and great-niece, Ashley; niece, Gretchen Gawron and her husband, Jeremy; brother-in-law Charlie White; and a host of friends and family. Chapel services will be Monday in Greenlawn North at 10 a.m. with burial in Brookline Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday in Greenlawn North.
