About	Joey Bill Jones, age 57, a lifelong resident of Springfield, Mo., passed away October 28, 2006, in his home after a short illness from cancer. "Absent from the body, to be present with the Lord" II Corinthians 5:8. Joey, the eldest son of Earl and Ruby Jones, was born July 1, 1949. Joey was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Marilyn Rogers. He is survived by one daughter, April Voyles and husband, Paul; one brother, Danny Jones and wife, Sara, all of Springfield, Mo.; one sister, Linda Brown and husband, Charles, of Brighton, Mo.; five grandchildren, whom he treasured daily, Kelia Jones Voyles, Skyler and Destiney Davisson, Summer and Brice Voyles, all of Springfield, Mo.; two uncles, Fay Dyal and wife, Anna, and Ray Dyal of Springfield, Mo.; nieces, Jennifer Stalker of Bolivar, Mo., Sara Collyott and husband, Joseph, and their child, Issac, of Springfield, Mo.; nephews, Daniel Jones of Springfield, Mo., Matthew White and wife, Tiffanie, and their children, Mathew, Kenzye and Ryen of Willard, Mo.; many cousins and a host of friends. Joey will be dearly missed for his witty humor and generous heart. He was an avid baseball card collector and loved listening to the St. Louis Cardinals ball games. Services will be held Tuesday, October 31, 2006, at 3:30 p.m. under the direction of Greenlawn Funeral Home North, officiated by Pastor Jess Robards. Interment will be at Bellview Cemetery.
