About	Daniel "Danny" Thomas Franklin, 57, Springfield, passed away at 11:45 p.m. Wednesday , May 18, 2005, in his home. Danny was born August 24, 1947, in Springfield, Missouri, to Thomas and Verna (Westland) Franklin. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church for over 30 years. Danny worked for General Electric for 33 years, and he loved to go fishing and hunting. Mr. Franklin also served in the U. S. Army with the 8th Airborne Division. Danny is survived by his wife of 34 years, Beverly (Gaylor) Franklin; three children, Kelly Meyer, Shawnda Franklin , and Scott Franklin, all of Springfield; one granddaughter, Eden Danielle Meyer; and one brother, David Franklin of Siloam Springs, Arkansas. He was preceded in death by his parents and one granddaughter, Katlyn Rickard. Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 21, 2005, in Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will be at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens under the care of Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home, 500 E. Walnut. Visitation will be from 6 to 7 p.m. today with Rosary Services starting at 7 p.m., all in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 1609 N. Summit, Springfield, MO 65803, and Catholic Campus Ministry, 847 S.
