About	Danny Joe Adamson, age 51, of Monett, Mo., passed away in his sleep at home on December 13, 2009. Danny was born on March 8, 1958, in Monett, the son of Donald Adamson, Sr. and Mary Lowe. Danny was united in marriage to Connie Jo Gill on December 15, 1979, in Springfield, Mo. After graduating from Hillcrest High School, Danny entered the United States Navy and was stationed in Japan where he served for three years until being honorably discharged in 1978. During his life, he worked multiple jobs to take care of his family from owning and operating his own donut bakery to driving a school bus. Danny had a great passion for playing poker, gambling, barbecuing, fishing, and a love for the outdoors. He was also a member of the Pleasant Home Baptist Church in Springfield. Since his wreck, Danny suffered a lot through the years but now we know his suffering has ceased. Danny had the biggest heart for he always helped anyone who needed it. He was loved by all who knew him and will be surely missed. Danny is survived by his wife, Connie, of the home; three boys, D.J. Adamson and Marla Gardner, Christopher Adamson and his wife Jennifer, and Nicholas Adamson, all of Monett; his mother, Mary Lowe and her husband Kirk, of Monett; two sisters, Pam Sherman, and Darla Denney and her husband Brian; one brother, Donald Adamson, Jr. and his wife Rhonda; three grandchildren, Danielle, Kameron "Lil' Man", and Tyson, and one more little Angel on the way; two brothers-in-law, Ronnie and Connie Sue Gill, and John and Sue Gill, all of Springfield, Mo.; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends. Danny was preceded in death by his father, Donald Adamson, Sr.; his brother-in-law, Tom Thomason; his God-son, J.D. Meckley; and his father and mother-in-laws, Floyd and Betty Jo Gill. Funeral services for Mr. Danny Joe Adamson will be held 10 a.m. Thursday, December 17, 2009, in the Buchanan Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Calvin Parrish officiating. Interment will be in the Monett I.O.O.F. Cemetery with full military honors.
