Luanne Gay Garrison, 54, of Seymour, passed away Tuesday, August 18, 2009. She was born in Springfield, Mo., on April 13, 1955. Luanne was a graduate of Hillcrest High School in 1973 and was employed with Panera Bread Co. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Josephine Wilhite. She is survived by her significant other, Lyle Walker; children, Kristin Garrison and significant other, Adam Boyd, and Daniel Garrison and significant other, Lucia Triggs; grandchildren, Katelyn and Emma, Tyler, Haley and Anthony; brother David and wife, Patti Wilhite; sisters Karen Wilhite and Susanne Smith; nieces and nephews, Michelle Ferguson and husband, Aaron and their daughter, Rachel, Scott Garrett and wife, Abby and daughter, Rowan; and numerous close friends. Services will be in Greenlawn Funeral Home North at 1 p.m. Saturday, August 22, 2009. Burial will follow the service. Visitation will be Friday, August 21, 2009, from 6 to 8 p.m., in the funeral home. [Spfd News Leader dated August 21, 2009]
