Lawrence Eugene Davison, 72, Springfield, MO., died at 4:55 p.m. Wednesday, Sept., 10, 1997, in Missouri Veteran's Home, Mount Vernon, MO., Lawrence was born Jan. 27, 1925], in Buffalo, Mo., the son of James Ivan and Myrtle Fugate Davison. Mr. Davison was a retired high school teacher and a World War II U.S. Navy veteran. He was also a member of Parkview Christian Church, Springfield. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Carolyn, of the home; two daughters, Teresa Keepper, Clever, Mo., and Traci Hamra, Erie, Penn.; a son, Brent Davison, Seymour, Ind.; 13 grandchildren; a sister, Wilma Austin, Ogden, Utah; and a host of friends. Funeral Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, Sept. 15, 1997, in Greenlawn Funeral Home South with the Rev. Jim Haening and Tony Newby officiating. Graveside services and burial will follow at 12:30 p.m. in Oak Lawn Cemetery, Buffalo. No forma visitation is planned, but friends may call after 8 a.m. today, Sept., 14 1997, in the funeral home.
