About | Subjects taught: Math, Driver's Ed, Basketball Coach Beryl O. Bradley, 75, Springfield, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 31, 2001 in St. John's Regional Health Center. Mr. Bradley was born May 4, 1925, in Osceola, Mo., the son of the late Benn and Lora Brown Bradley. Beryl was a World War II, U.S. Army Air Corp veteran. He was retired from Hillcrest High School where he was a math and drivers education teacher and basketball coach. He enjoyed boating, other lake activities, and was a devoted Lady Bears fan. He was an avid golfer and a member of Greene Hills Country Club where he played daily with many friends. He was a loving husband, father and grandpa. He is survived by his wife, Julie; two sons, Mark Bradley and wife Laura, Tucson, Ariz., and Kevin Bradley and wife Robin, Springfield, MO.; a daughter, Kate Bradley, Springfield, MO.,; a brother, S. Gaylen Bradley, Hershey, Penn.; four grandsons, Jeremiah, Joshua and Daniel Bradley and Tarik Slim; and two granddaughters, Jen and Beth Slim. A special gathering of family and friends will be held from 2 to 3 p.m. Saturday, Goodwin-Lee funeral Home of Rivermonte. The body has been cremated. In lieu of flowers, the family has request that memorial donations be made to the American Heart Association, 1675 E. Seminole, Springfield, MO 65804. [Spfd News Leader dated 02 Feb 2001] |
