About	Grady Burl Fletcher, Jr. 51, passed away Friday Oct., 19, 2001 in his home after a brief illness. Grady was born May 4, 1950, in Duncan, Okla., to Grady B. Sr. and Imo Jean Fletcher. He graduated from Hillcrest High School in 1968. Grady worked at Cox Medical Center North Cafeteria during high school which started his lifelong love of cooking for others. Grady was a chef at Howard Johnson’s for 18 years and many of his customers followed him to the Last Great American Diner where he worked at the time of his death. Grady was a big sports and racing fan who loved to relax with his glass of iced tea while watching sports on TV. He is survived by his parents; three daughters, Sherry Fletcher, of Michigan, Leslie Fletcher, of Springfield, Mo., and Christine Fletcher, of the home; two granddaughters, Annastacia Whisnant and Kourtney Blaze Fletcher; one brother, Kevin Fletcher, of Springfield; four sisters, Carolyn Smith, of Elkland, Tonya Deubler, of Strafford, Janetta McElveen, of Springfield, and Frances Garrison, of Davis, Okla.; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday Oct. 23, in Greenlawn Funeral Home North with burial in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday Oct. 22, in the funeral home.
