About	Grant Wesley Lawson, 65, Nixa, passed away in Cox South Hospital on Tuesday, August 4, 2009. He was born on December 6, 1943. Grant was a 1961 graduate of Hillcrest High School and a 1967 graduate of MSU with a B.S. in history. He worked on the Chicago Board of Options Exchange and was a member and chairman of the finance committee and a member of the executive committee. He was a member of First and Calvary Presbyterian Church and of the Hillcrest High School class of 1961 undefeated football team. He was a sports enthusiast and wine collector. He was preceded in death by his parents, C.A. and Jessie Marie Lawson; two brothers; and three sisters. Grant is survived by his wife, Theresa Lawson; and nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held in Greenlawn Funeral Home North at 3 p.m. Friday, August 7, 2009. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. The family suggests memorial donations be made to First and Calvary Presbyterian Church and Foundation for Springfield Public Schools, 940 N.
