Betty Ann Brown, 56, Springfield, passed away Feb. 1, 2007, at St. John's Hospital, Springfield. She was a graduate of Hillcrest High School and a homemaker. On April 2, 1971, she married Earnest Brown at West Division St. Baptist Church, Springfield. She was a member of Northwest Baptist Church and, when her health permitted, she taught V.B.S. and delivered meals to the homebound through Bread of Life. Betty enjoyed helping others in need and spreading the word of God. Survivors include her husband Earnest; daughter Lisa Brown; son Jason Brown; grandson Austen Brown; several nieces and nephews; and numerous cousins. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Mon., Feb. 5 in Greenlawn Funeral Home North, with burial in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Sun., Feb. 4 in the funeral home.
