About	Kara Lea (Trapp) Nothnagel At 12:10 a.m. on February 14, 2009, in Cox South Medical Center, the angels came and carried Kara Lea (Trapp) Nothnagel to be with her Heavenly Father. Kara's joyful spirit and strong faith helped her fight a courageous battle with cancer. Her positive and joyful spirit impacted many lives. Kara was born December 21, 1981, in Springfield, Missouri. She was a 2000 graduate of Hillcrest High School and was employed as a color consultant with Seminole Paint and Decor. Kara was united in marriage to Corey Nothnagel on August 18, 2001, in Ritter Springs Park. She was a member of Jefferson Avenue Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Corey; parents, Jerry and Karen Trapp; a brother, Eric Trapp and wife, Rachel; father and mother-in-law, Rick and Marilyn Nothnagel; a brother-in-law, Brian Nothnagel and wife, Heather; nephews, Bradley, Brandon, David and Jacob; a niece, Emalee; maternal grandfather, Earl Hatfield; and a host of friends and family. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, February 17, 2009, in Jefferson Avenue Baptist Church, with burial in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, in the church. Memorial contributions may be made to the Kara Nothnagel Memorial Fund, in care of Greenlawn Funeral Home North, to help defray medical expenses. The family would like to thank Dr. Robert Ellis, Dr. Hope Rasque, Dr. Terrance Coulter, and Dr. Ibrahim Abdalla, all of the staff at Hulston Cancer Center, the staff on 5th floor oncology at Cox South, Dr. Robert Scott M.D. and Dr. Martin Mayse of Barnes Hospital St. Louis.
