About	Coach Newton was also in the first graduating class of Hillcrest in 1959. He actively coached football at Parkview, Hillcrest, Central and Glendale. The 1989 Hillcrest Hornets, called the Doctors of Defense, had an outstanding defensive year under his guidance.
