Brenda (Barton) Trisler, 46, Nashville, Tenn., died suddenly on March 31, 2007, in her home. Brenda was born June 11, 1960, in Springfield, Mo., to Billy and Wanda Barton. Brenda was a 1978 graduate of Hillcrest High School and South Oklahoma School of Nursing. She worked as a surgical nurse at Summit Hospital for many years, regional administrator for Amsurg Healthcare of Nashville, Tenn., and current regional administrator with Neuterra Health Care of Kansas City, Mo. She is survived by her husband of 28 years, Dennis Trisler; two sons, David and Bradley Trisler; and one brother, Bill F. Barton of Springfield, Mo. Memorial services will be held in the Family Life Center of First Baptist Church in Springfield, Mo., 525 South Street (417) 866-7202, on Tuesday, May 8. Visitation will be from 6 to 7 p.m. with services at 7 p.m. Brenda was an avid pet lover, and in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Springfield Humane Society.
