Tom Locke, 57, Springfield, was born May 16, 1949, at home in Humansville, and passed away March 22, 2007, at home in Battlefield. He graduated from Hillcrest High School and served in the U.S. Army from 1969-1971. Tom was employed with the Springfield Fire Dept. for 23 years. He was preceded in death by his grandparents. Surviving are his father, Truman Locke, and mother, Dorothy Carsten; children and their spouses, Tommy and LeAnn Locke, Jeff and Heather Youngblood, and Russ and Janelle Powers; grandchildren, Brandan Locke, Shannon Locke, Hailey Youngblood; brothers, Robert "Skip" and Margie, Ed and Nancy, and Richard; sisters, Ginnie and Ron White, Sharon and Eddie Rice; and many other family members and friends. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Monday, March 26, 2007, at Greenlawn Funeral Home East, with burial in West Finley Cemetery, Rogersville. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, March 25, 2007, in the funeral home.
