About	Donna Glenice Lewis of Springfield, Mo., passed away unexpectedly October 23, 2008, at the spirited age of 56. She was born August 15, 1952, in Pine Bluff Arkansas to Scellars and Georgia Young and raised in Saint Louis, Mo. Donna graduated from Vashon High School in Saint Louis, Mo. She then moved to Springfield, to pursue an education degree through Drury University. Donna completed her Bachelor's degree and obtained a Masters in special education. She served the Springfield public schools for 32 years at Central and Hillcrest High Schools. Donna loved all aspects of life and especially enjoyed cooking, being a mother, serving others, and most of all watching her son play basketball. Donna was the proud mother of three children, Leslie Lewis, Ra'Vonda Lewis (Sanon), and Anthony Tolliver. She is survived by her dearest companion LeRoy Cook, sister Lille Sanderson (Cookie), her brothers Scellars Andrew Young Jr. (Buddy), Willie Young, son in law Steven Sanon Jr., brother in law Arnold Sanderson, as well as numerous family and friends. Services will be held Thursday, October 30, 2008, in the Gillioz Theatre at 6 p.m. Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. Gilloz Theatre is located at 325 Park Central E Springfield, MO 65806. Burial will be Friday in Rivermont Cemetery Springfield, Mo. Services have been arranged by Walnut Lawn Funeral home and may be contacted if information is needed 417-886-6127. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been arranged and contributions may be sent to Leslie Lewis at 3225 S Benton Springfield, Mo 65807.
