About	Obituary: Daniel Boyd Prewett went to be with his Heavenly Father on September 5, 2008, at the age of 52. He was born May 10, 1956, to Orville Boyd and Joan Prewett. Daniel was saved at an early age and was a member of High Street Baptist Church. He attended Hillcrest High School and carried a double major at Drury College, where he also played violin in the orchestra. Daniel lived most of his life in Springfield. He was the manager of Jarman Shoe Store in Tulsa, Oklahoma, operated a knife shop with his sister, and also worked in the oil fields while in Oklahoma. Danny, or "Buck" as he was nicknamed as a small child, was very caring, lovable and smart, with a great sense of humor. Survivors include his mother, Joan Prewett of Springfield, Mo.; two sisters, Marilyn Prewett of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Beatrice and husband, Larry Ruark of Springfield, Mo.; one brother, Curtis and wife, Elaina Prewett of Norwood, Mo., two nephews, Jesse Ruark and Michael Prewett; three nieces, Lindsey and husband, Steven Lipe, Jessica Prewett and Chasity Prewett; and one great-nephew, Coleton Lipe. Daniel was preceded in death by his father, Orville Boyd Prewett; and a nephew, Cody Hackler. He will be missed greatly by all of his family and friends. Daniel had an illness of 11 years. Thanks to everyone who helped us care for him. Visitation will be held Sunday, September 7, from 6 to 8 p.m, in Greenlawn Funeral Home North. Funeral services will be Monday, at 3:30 p.m., in the funeral home. Interment will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, in North Fairview Cemetery near Dixon, Mo.
