About	Chris A. Evans passed away at his home in Springfield on May 17, 2008, at the age of 58. Chris was born December 12, 1949 in Springfield, Mo. He was preceded in death by his parents, Cleo and Erma Evans. He is survived by his children; Della Evans of Highlands Ranch, Colo., and Jack Evans of Springfield, Mo. Chris graduated from Hillcrest High School in 1967 and from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 1972 with his Masters in Science: Electrical Engineering. He worked for Black & Veatch Consulting in Kansas City before moving back to Springfield and working for 19 years as the Manager for City Utilities Electric Department. Graveside services will be held at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens at 1 p.m. on May 23, 2008. Visitation will be held at Greenlawn Funeral Home North from 12 - 1 p.m. prior to services.
