About	Robert "Bob" E. Holt, 61, of Springfield, Mo., passed away on June 30, 2008. He was born on January 31, 1947. Bob was a graduate of Hillcrest High School with the class of 1965. He served in the United States Army and was a letter carrier for the United States Postal Service. He was a highly respected letter carrier that carried his heart on his sleeve. Through his pranks and good nature Bob will be loved and missed, by all that knew him. He was a member of the American Legion Post 639 and the NALC. He enjoyed fishing, bowling, Nascar and ping pong. He was united in marriage to Linda Annette Tibbs on July 18, 1977, in Miami, Okla., she survives him. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a granddaughter, Abriana Jean Patterson. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Nikki and husband, Steven Long and Karie Holt and fiance' Heath Ballard; two grandchildren, Ethan and Gracelyn Long; and his cat/roomate, Taz. Funeral services will be held in Greenlawn Funeral Home North at 9 a.m. Thursday, July 3, 2008. Burial will follow in Missouri Veterans Cemetery.
