Events | Lois Lehmann Obituary Published by Legacy Remembers on May 24, 2025. It is with a heavy heart that we announce that Lois Marie Lehmann (Hudson), of West Sacramento, California, passed away at her home on April 21, 2025. Lois will be remembered for her devotion to her family, kindness, and generosity to those in need. Lois was born on October 22, 1946 in Dora, Missouri and was the second child of four of the late Milford and Mary Hudson. In life Lois was a prolific baker, an avid candy maker, and a master seamstress. She was always working on a project. Some of these projects included: stitching full sized quilts, crocheting blankets, sock hats, scarfs, etc., baking cookies, and making various candies and chocolates. Lois' kindness and generosity knew no limits. Every year during the holidays she would go into overdrive and bake hundreds of Christmas cookies and donate, along with most of the blankets and crocheted items she made throughout the year to the Children's Receiving Home of Sacramento. She was always willing to help you out anyway she could if you were in need. This ranged from providing a hot meal when you did not have one to offering her home if you needed a place to stay and everything in between. Lois was a huge source of love, warmth, joy and support to her and family and friends and will be deeply missed. Lois is survived by her 2 younger siblings: James(Jim) and Wendy, her 3 children: Sherri, Robert(Rob), and Connie, her 5 grandchildren: Jeremy, Austin, Colin, James, and Kimberly, and her 6 great grandchildren: Vanity, Violet, Ivory, Chelsea, Willow, and newly announced great grandson. She was preceded in death by her husband Matthew and her brother Larry. Lois asked for no formal service to be held. If you would like to make a donation in her name, the family kindly asks that you send it to the Children's Receiving Home of Sacramento. |
