About Me	I enjoy gatherings with family and staying in touch with friends. I am not a constant socializer, just occasionally (Plus, I am 69 years old and sometimes I am just tired, ha). Being alone at times is important to me too. I am widowed; I had the gift of a loving and good husband for 20 years. I am guardian for my mother who has Alzheimers and is in a nursing home. I visit her almost every day and am thankful for that time. I love writing and probably will always do that. I brings me a lot of contentment; I write under a pseudonym. I also did books for my mom and dad and my great aunt,(their life stories). I learned a lot about each one of them; authoring their own book made them all very happy! I like to play Texas Hold Em (I don't think it is all luck as some people say). I have enjoyed playing billiards throughout my life but haven't played much in over a year. I enjoy traveling within the United States. My very happiest time in life was the 26 years I spent with the love of my life, my husband. We were good to and for each other. He died in 2015. I have not dated and am not interested in dating. Still though, I appreciate men and their opinions and having them as close friends. I am always open to friendship and getting to know nice people. People who know me best have always described me as extremely patient. Simply, I think God put us here to be good to each other and to learn from each other - no matter what our age. If I find someone is ill intended toward me or just evil spirited in general, I avoid them and I make no excuses for that. In September 2023 I attended my 50th high school reunion.
