About Me	Luz de Luna Band by Nelson Armando G. Alborno I'm Italian citizen and my family is originaly from San Remo,Liguria,Italy. I Lived most of my childhood and youth in Rome Italy, I studied classic guitar with the well-know Felipe Sosa. I studied music theory and writing with Luis Miranda. After performing in USA, Spain and Japan for a number of years, I toured with the famous group “Los Paraguayos” through Germany, Turkey, Cyprus, Sweden, and Denmark. I Became a member of the American Federation of Musicians in the USA, and studied classic guitar with Lou Melia in New Jersey (U.S.A) From 1989 thru 1990 I performed as HARPIST In the Spanish Steps Lounge at the Caesar Palace Hotel in Las Vegas, NV, (U.S.A.). I formed Luz De Luna “Band” in Turin Italy (1999) offering all my talent and my experience playing the harp, Guitar and Requinto. For a couple of years I worked in Turin and Milan in Italy, after several Hotels. Hotel Paradis at Mauritius Island (IndianOcean), Millenium Airport Hotel Dubai (U.A.E.), Bad Griesbach at the famous Maximilian Hotel Golf in Germany, In Abu Dhabi (Capital of the United Arabs Emirates) at the Sheraton Hotel & Towers, in Norway at Color Line Cruise Ships, Renaissance Hotel Dubai (U.A.E.), at the Sheraton Grande Walker Hill Hotel in Seoul-Korea, at Novotel Al Dana Resort in Manama-Bahrain, Sheraton Hotel & Towers Doha Qatar, Hilton Ras Al Khaimah (U.A.E), Hotel Miramar Fujairah (U.A.E), Moscow Hotel Dubai (U.A.E). Byblos hotel Dubai(U.A.E.) Luz de Luna (the light of the moon) entrances audiences with its authentic and diverse international repertoire. With harp, guitar and vocals, this band has traveled the world. Luz de Luna specializes in entertaining crowds of mixed nationalities and many cultures. The musicians sing in: Italian, Spanish, English, Portuguese, French and Greece. Their musical styles span Italian, Latin, mediterranean, and . world wide hits. Luz de Luna Band Play Harp: According to the Holy Bible, king David used to play the harp. The harp is one of the most antique musical instruments remembered in our history. The harp first came to Rio de la Plata and made its way to the Guarani territory with the Spaniard Conquerors. The Paraguayan harp is a product of the fusion of two civilizations, Guarani and Spanish, the Guarani People (Paraguayans), showed high interest in learning to play the instrument.
