Come join the Class of ’65 in celebrating their 45th HPHS Class Reunion! Our reunion is open to any classmates from surrounding years who would like to party with us! Our reunion event is coming up fast and this is a last-ditch effort to connect with those of you we may have missed. Our official party will be at The Pines Manor, 2085 Rt. 27 (Lincoln Hwy), Edison, NJ 08817 on Saturday, October 9, 2010 from 7 to 10 pm. The cost is $75 per person. Dress is business casual. A block of rooms is being held for Oct. 8 & 9 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Rt. 27, Edison (across from The Pines Manor) for “Highland Park Class of ’65 Reunionâ€. Dear Classmates:
I pray that you are well and in a peaceful state of mind. I am healthy and blessed and grateful that I have had the opportunity to see, speak to or correspond with so many of you. Maria (Bongiovanni) Corbet and I recalled making meatloaf for a Girl Scout badge in elementary school. Scott Ilnicky and I exchanged memories of competing with and against each other in an 8th grade spelling bee. (I remembered it more than he did, but thatâ%uFFFD%uFFFDs okay.) It has been a true pleasure to catch up just a little. I look forward to seeing you in person and sharing and laughing a lot with you!
We are up to 35 paid and/or committed attendees. Iâ%uFFFD%uFFFDve attached list. We have a number of classmates traveling from out of state and three from out of the country. Thirty-five is certainly enough to have a reunion, but it would be great to increase that number, particularly for those who will be traveling a great distance to be with us.
We have a number of activities planned to keep the evening interesting and fun. There will be great music from the era, dancing if youâ%uFFFD%uFFFDre brave enough to go there, and good food and drink. Donâ%uFFFD%uFFFDt worry about not recognizing someone or not being remembered. Weâ%uFFFD%uFFFDre taking care of that. We also have a special guest youâ%uFFFD%uFFFDll not want to miss!

You will also receive a reunion booklet which will include photos, contact information, and interesting facts about our classmates. All classmates attending the reunion and those who cannot attend but wish to be included in the booklet should send the attached information form along with your photos in .jpeg format to me by May 15. Even if you plan to attend, but have not paid for your ticket, I still need your forms and photos by May 15 so I can get the booklet prepared for the printer. Photos can be of anything (vacation, activities, work, pets) or with anyone (family, friends, co-workers) that reflects who you are, whatâ%uFFFD%uFFFDs important in your life, and tells us about your character and personality.
It would be very helpful and very much appreciated if I could receive your payment sooner rather than later. There are a number of expenses that cannot wait until the last minute. Checks/money orders for tickets or reunion booklets should be made payable to and mailed to:
