About Me	Life For those whose memory seems to have grown as short as mine, I was regularly known as James or by my nickname (Bird). My best friends are Milton (Fuzz) McKenzie, Carl (Sonny) OÂ’Neal, James (Bullet) Armstead, Alonzo Jackson, and Stacey (French-one) Paritee. I hung out with a lot of other friends. But, this motley crew were my tights. Charlie Horn and I now see each other regularily since we live in the same area on the east coast. I departed Highland Park in April 1964 (after a brief stint at FordÂ’s) to join the Air Force. I was stationed at Bolling AFB in Washington D.C. from 1964 to 1968 when I ended my tour of duty. I knew early in 1964 that the Washington D.C. area would be my permanent home. I attended a computer training school for 6 months in 1968 before landing a job with the Department of Transportation Computer Services in February 1969. I moved to TreasuryÂ’s Computer Science Division in 1978 I retired from Treasury (IRS) in April 2003. Additionally, I graduated from The University of the District of Columbia with Bachelor of Science Degree in 1978. I met the former Terracita Stills from Akron Ohio in 1969 and we married on Saturday, July 3, 1971 in Akron, Ohio. Because we both migrated from other cities to D.C. we ended up having 3 receptions. One in Akron on our wedding day, a week later in Highland Park (Detroit), and week later in D.C. We built a home in Clinton, Maryland where we raised 2 daughters Kimberly (Daniels) and Krystal (Henry). Kim has completed her MasterÂ’s requirements and teaches in the Maryland school system. Krystal completed her Master's requirements in 2006. She married Harold Henry in March 2008. She works as a counselor in the Baltimore Maryland school system. We look forward to this union of familes. We have one Granddaughter, Kierra Daniels and one Grandson, Raynaldo III . I have always enjoyed a good party with good friends and a chance to meet new friends. I like fishing, traveling to out-of-town events like the Hampton Jazz Festival (41 years), New Orleans Mardi Gras, Washington Redskin football games, college football games, family reunions (mine and friends), etc. I return to Michigan (Southfield) about 3 times a year.
