| About Me | I grew up in Salt lake City - a wonderful place to grow up and be a kid. " Kick the can" every night in the summer, gorgeous sunsets from our porch, picnics and hikes up the canyons, the world's best skiing and a clean, beautiful friendly city. * After the U of U, I came to CA in the VISTA program and stayed to go to Grad School in Social Work. I was hired in the Bay Area to be the Director of a non-profit agency assisting parolees and probationers get training and jobs. * With budget cuts, I looked to the private section for employment and worked for Equitec in equipment leasing sales. I moved to the marketing dept where I wrote the sales support materials for the Brokers to sell financial products. * A friend sold me a rental property and it was so much fun, I quit my job and became a Realtor. That was in 1985. * In 1990, I married Tom Pruitt and we adopted a girl from China in 1994 and a boy from Cambodia in 1999. Colette and Benson are the light and focus of my life.
