About	On July 3, 2009 Dan was helping his neighbor build a treehouse for the neighborhood kids when a freak storm passed over Highland and he was struck by lightning. This was a freak accident and a terrible loss for his wife, 3 beautiful children (2 girls and 1 boy), family, friends and co-worker's. We are all still trying to accept the fact that this wonderful, caring,funny soul was taken way too soon. RIP Dan and we will miss you for the rest of our lives.
