Marine Corps, 13 Years
served 13 years, working in the aviation side. several deployments over seas including Desert Storm, worked on A-4, F-4, A-7, A-6, EA-6B, and plank owner on F-18 from preproduction to the F-18D. Duty stations included MCAS Beaufort SC, NAS Lemoore CA, MCAS Kaneohe Bay HI, MCAS El Toro CA

Aircrew Egress Systems Superintendant. Senior Manager of Egress Systems on the SR-71 Blackbird and the U-2 Strategic Reconnaisance aircraft from Feb. 76-Aug. 79 and from Oct. 82- Aug. 87.
If you don't know what an Egress System is, it is an ejection seat. 20 years in Egress and I never lost a pilot.

I proudly served in the USN for ten years in the computer field. I was stationed on the USS Emory S. Land and at Fleet Combat Training Center Atlantic. While serving, I was fortunate enough to author and setup the Navy's premier Advanced Network Analyst School which is now taught at over 30 sites worldwide. I was also selected as FCTCLANT Sailor of the Year, an award rarely given females especially as junior as I was.

Our Highland High School military alumni are some of the most outstanding people we know and this page recognizes them and everything they have done! Not everyone gets to come home for the holidays and we want our Highland High School Military to know that they are loved and appreciated.
