Cathleen Harrell received a BA in Speech Pathology from NMSU in 1973, married George Knipprath and moved to Houston where she completed an MA in Speech Pathology. After jobs took them to several states across America, they and their 3 daughters and 1 son settled back in Albuquerque in 1991. Cathy was extremely active in the home schooling community and co-leader of the home school Organization H20. From 2003-2016 she was a speech therapist for EASI, serving numerous locations, including Native American schools. She greatly loved her grandchildren. Tragically, Cathy died in 2016 from complications following a hip replacement.
