Alan Gerald Whicher attended High Point High School in Beltsville, MD.

Date of Passing Apr 19, 1995
Alan was a proud and active member of High Point High Schools class of '72. After graduating from Maryland Univeristy, he served for 20 years in the United Stated Secret Service under four Presidents. He was killed in the Oklahoma City Bombing...his funeral was attended by many dignitaries, including President and Mrs. Clinton.

Alan and I wrestled for High Point so alot of memories there. Plus, we were friends outside school and would visit each others houses. I remember riding his motorcycle around the school yard at my house. Good times. Sorry I missed his funeral and we lost a good man that day.

I remember Alan well. He was much more mature than most boys his age & a very nice guy. I feel very sorry for his family and hope they’ve managed to recover from this as well as could be expected. Such a tragedy.
