Marilyn Monroe at Gallery Hop

I am all done restoring the plaster statue busts for the Hibbing High School, now I will be in Gallery Hop with my paintings of Marilyn Monroe.... Thursday, June 26th from noon to 7:00 p.m.

Restoring the historical busts in Study Hall

Here in my art studio, I just finished restoring the last of the historical plaster busts from the Hibbing High School . They were in sad shape with decades of dirt, grime, peeling and chipped paint and in some cases, broken or missing parts.

Alum Tom Karki in Premiere

Tom Karki, a 1994 graduate of Hibbing High School, is appearing in the Minnesota premiere of the Off-Broadway hit, �The Great American Trailer Park Musical,� playing November 6-22 in downtown Minneapolis. Minneapolis Musical Theatre is presenting the show at the Illusion Theater, 6th and Hennepin, in downtown Minneapolis.

Karki, who received his BFA in Vocal Performance from U MN-Duluth in 1999, plays the role of Norbert in the lighthearted production. Also appearing in �The Great American Trailer Park Musical� is Tom�s wife, Christine Karki.
