| About Me | After graduating from KU in '76, we moved to Springfield, MO, intending to move back closer to home after a couple of years. Actually had opportunity to move back to Hiawatha after a couple of years, but it ended up not working out. So we raised our kids in the city of Springfield. Debbie and I divorced after 17 years. I remarried 6 years later to Cyndy, a wonderful Arkansas girl and now have 3 grandsons by my "step" daughter. I "enjoyed" a long 42 year career as a Physical Therapist, but I am enjoying retirement with Cyndy even more! I still sometimes miss my high school days, mostly old friends, baseball, and football. We don't make it back to Hiawatha very often, but always really enjoy going back to the old stomping grounds. Hope to see everyone at our next re-union! Update: As of 9/1/20, we have a new Granddaughter! My daughter Chandra and husband Andy adopted a baby girl, Geneva. They have had her since she was born in January, but the adoption became official on 9/1/20. 2 of our grandsons (age 20) live in Fayetteville, AR and our oldest grandson lives in Ft Worth, Texas. We don't get to see the grandkids as much as we would like, but enjoy them every time we get to see them! All of you who are grandparents know exactly what I mean.
