Suffered stroke and rolled his pickup coming home from OK around Yates, KS. Was flown to Witchita where he passed on April 3, 2011. Memorial services were held 04/30/2011 at Zion Lutheran Church in Everest, KS with a celebration of life at the family farm just outside of Horton, KS.

David was loved by many. I will always remember his sneaky approach to make you laugh. I am pretty sure he was one who walked up and down the sidewalk in a full costume during the Halloween parade, stand in front of you making you laugh trying to guess who is behind the mask! RIP dear friend! We miss you!
