He was from the class of 1948. A graduate of a Technical school in Chicago, a former member of the U.S. Army. In 1985 he went to the New York Stock Exchange. He moved to Fort Worth, Texas working for Rauscher Pierce, from whence he retired.

John and I were best buddies back in the 1940s. He was a person who made friends easily and once had a business in Hershey for tv repairs and installation. When I moved to California in 1959,looking for work, I stayed at the home of John and his wife (Carol Smith) who lived in the Valley near Burbank. (They lived there prior to his call to a job in Fort Worth, Texas. Carol still survives him.)
The last time we were together was at our last class reunion.
