Marine Corps, 7 Years
Initially (1968) I served with 5th AT's at Camp Pendletion. Early 1969 found me in the land of the little pissed off people assigned to the 2nd Battalion 26th marines. After a tour and a half (18 months0 i made it back to the good old USA. Another trip overseaes to Japan and then discharged in Nov 1975.

Navy, 6 Years
1975 to 1981 - Nuclear Power Plant trained Electrical Operator on a Fast Attack Submarine. 2 years of training and 4 years on a boat. Persian Gulf operations during Iran Hostage Crisis.

Billets include Depoe Bay, North Bend OR, Astoria OR, Louisville KY, New Orleans LA, Portsmouth VA, Traverse City MI, Elizabeth City NC.
Mark K. Nye
Mark K. Nye Class of 1970
Air Force, 8 Years
SSGT Mark Nye served in USAF at Danang, Vietnam and Ubon RTAFB, Thailand from 1973-1975. Honorable discharged in 1978.
