Jeremy graduated early from Heritage H.S. in Dec. 2003 to join the Marine Corp. He was deployed to Iraq and Southeast Asia from 2004-2008. During this time he was awarded the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal for heroic actions in combat, and the Meritorious Mast award for successfully completing over 200 combat patrols in Iraq. Upon his discharge, Jeremy began college classes at UCD and transferred to CSM. He played varsity soccer for Mines one year, and was a member of the Petroleum Engineering Honor Society. He graduated with a B.S. in Petroleum Engineering from CSM in 2013. After graduation he was employed in the O&G industry in the Denver area. He was admitted to the DU graduate program and was preparing to start the MBA program in September 2018. Jeremy is the youngest son of Steve and Maureen Gilbert, and a loving brother of Brandon Gilbert, Bradley Gilbert, and Renee (Gilbert) Sullivan.
