What can I say about my friend Paul, plenty. We played basketball together my senior year and had a blast.After graduation we played slow pitch softball for a few years together along with a few other alumni and we bonded even stronger. In fact I got to know him even better because we spent so much time together on and off the field. He was a great athlete no matter what sport he played. We had a great softball team and I suppose the local teams in Desoto might not have cared for us much because we went down there and owned that league . Paul and I also bowled together on a league a few years at Quonset Lanes in Crystal City, Mo.We closed the bar down many times .We hadn't keep in touch much after our softball days. It really hurt when I found out he had passed. Love and miss you my friend. It kills me that we don't have the opportunity to see each other ever again. I will always remember the fun times we had. I didn't know he had passed until a couple of years after the fact and I hate that I never got to say goodbye.
