| About Me | After High School, I began my long educational journey (1970 - 2000). I began college in the fall of '70 and graduated in '77 (I lked some of my classes so much, I decided to take them more than once). During these years, worked as a church youth director, church custodian, shoe salesman, restuarant cook, and many other thrilling and "educational" jobs) I was married 1 week after my first College graduation, (unfortunatley my marriage survied only until 2000) I Attended Bethel Seminary and recieved my first Master's Degree in 1981 (MATS - Education and Counseling) (In 1985, I recieved my MDiv In 2001 - I recieved my MA in Curriculum and Instruction from SDSU) In 1980, I became a Chaplain in the United States Navy Reserve and from '82-'86 I served on active duty with the USMC. I spent 19 more years in the USN reserves, retiring in 2006 at the rank of Commander) From '86 - '99 I served as a Pastor of several churches and director of Season of Life (a counseling ministry I founded) In 1995, I earned my Calif Multiple Subject Teaching Credential and began to work as an Eementary School Teacher in Santee. (After serving bi-vocationally until 1999, I resigned my position as Pastor to devote my time to my educational career) I have two children Ryan (1983-2004) and Kaitlin (1985).
