About	Fran was a dear friend. She was a brilliant lawyer, who cared deeply about justice. Fran was a pioneer in establishing the Family Law Facilitator program at the San Diego Superior Court, to help those without an attorney to have meangful access to the courts. She loved her work. After her illness made retirement necessary, she joined a group at her church that made prayer quilts for other people who were ill. Fran loved flowers and gardening, and seemed to know the botanical name for almost every plant. She loved to travel. Fran fought cancer valliantly, and also with dignity and grace.
