Gail was our next door neighbor while I was growing up. She was my brother Gary’s age and I was her younger sister Lynn’s age. They were a lot of fun and just good neighbors. I saw Gail and Lynn a few years ago when I was in San Diego for a class reunion. When Gail found out I was in town she wanted to get together for lunch. She had been battling cancer for a while at that point but was having a good day so we met in Old Town for Mexican food for lunch. She brought another old friend from Hoover days, David Webster. We had all went to the same church youth group together, so it was a great reunion and fun time of sharing memories. It was great to see her and I’m really glad we got together when we did. Gail was always her own person, did things her way, was a very talented artist and a wonderful person to know. Gail was a sweet caring person and will be missed by all who were lucky enough to know her.
