| About Me | I attended Canby High School my senior year; because I moved in with my aunt after my grandfather passed away. During my senior year my class took a trip to Washington D.C. The trip sparked an interest in social sciences that since then has not burned out. The following year I attended Clackamas Community College, and the first class I registered for was into to government. I became a member of the CCC student government, and the following year I was elected the student body president. In August of 2000 I moved to Douglasville Georgia. I studied at the University of West Georgia, and I was the head trainer/ manager of Bridlewood Farms. It was a small hunter/jumper equestrian facility located just outside of Douglasville GA. While at the UWG I had the opportunity to study in Germany and India. I graduated from UWG with bachelors in political science and history in December of 2006. I got a job as an assistant manager at hunter/jumper facility just outside of Boston that showed on the grand prix circuit. In April of 2007 I decided to move into Boston and go to graduate school. My future husband was a professor at Boston University, so I decided to apply to the program. I needed a couple of courses and Harvard offered night school courses. I took a couple of night school courses at Harvard, and I decided that it couldn’t hurt to apply. I got in and now I have almost completed my masters in government studies.
