Edmond “The Lurch” Kida, 58, of Augusta passed away Saturday, October 31, 2015 at his home. The Lurch’s passion for music began as a young boy and grew into solo and group performances with local bands in the Augusta area over many years. He was proud to be the BEST Left-Handed guitarists in the area. He was a humble, happy and loving man who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Edmond is survived by his wife, Stacy Kida; four children, Matt, Holly, Annissa and Taylor Kida. His greater family included 1 sister, Peggy Lovejoy; 2 brothers, David Quandt and John Kida, plus numerous nieces and nephews; and many, many friends.
