About	Peterson, David J. son of James A. and Kathryn A. Peterson, born on November 1, 1961, died on April 7, 2023, as a result of a fall in his Cottage Grove home. He was graduated from Henry Sibley High School in 1980, where he was president of the Acapella Choir and captain of the football team. He was graduated from St. Olaf College in 1984, where he was a member of the choir, and was the student government treasurer. He earned an MBA from the University of Illinois in 1986. He was employed for over a decade at Target. He is survived by his wife, Nguyet, his father, his sister Ann Ruggles (Bruce), brother Ben, niece Caitlin Pariseau (Connor) and nephews Brendan (Carrie) and Cameron Leahy, Alex and Cole Peterson. He was preceded in death by his mother. A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, April 22, at 11:00 am at Augustana Lutheran Church in West St Paul. Visitation at 9:30 am. Memorials are requested to be directed to the Harvest Music Fund at Augustana.
