| About Me | I've been self employed several times, and I am currently. Owned my own business -- started an all-woman towing company when I was 22, after being refused a job on the basis of gender, and operated that company for nearly all of my 20's. Went back to college at 28 and got my degree in Civil Engineering. UC Davis grad, enjoyed the benefits of the additional wisdom from those ten years elsewhere, and learned I could be a leader. President of Society of Women Engineers my last year at Davis. Went to work for the US Army Corps of Engineers, and continued as an engineer for about 8 or 9 years.
