| About Me | After the Gunn, I went to Scripps College in Claremont, (International Relations and Philosophy) then went to Claremont Graduate University (International Relations Studies) and returned back to Thailand and taught philosophy at Thammasat University for almost 50 years, I retired at 68. Married with two kids, the elder one is in Paris making her perfume, Dusita Perfume (if you are interested you can find her website), and the second one just returned from London and hopefully will get his Ph.D in History from SOAS University of London soon, at present he just starts teaching at Thammasat University in History. At the moment he is teaching on LINE due to COVID. My husband Dr. Montri Umavijani passed away 16 years ago, by liver cancer, he is a poet, you can search for his poetry under his name, if you like poetry. At present I pass by time by exercising and try to keep myself strong by doing qigong which is good for elderly, also walking and playing table tennis, and try to keep away from using social media all the time. I am also doing Page in order to exchange ideas and introducing some ways of thinking for the Thai society, as we have too many bad news and sensation news around. Try to create some interesting ideas for the people, such as self-knowledge, meditation, and happiness. I visited Gunn about more than 5 years ago, and of course there are changes, and even at Stanford Mall (where my sister went), my favorite ice cream shop is no longer there.
