Everyone that knew and loved Karen, knows that she was one of the most lively, generous and kindhearted people to touch this earth. She was passionate about those she loved and would do anything to support them.

When I was in high school, Karen kept goats and gave my goat a place to stay while I built a pen for her. She sold me one of her doelings to be friends with my goat and that started my love affair with goats. She was a great co-president with Steve Garwin at Gunn Senior High School, breaking boundaries by sharing the role. Always kind, available, and friendly.
