THOMPSON Rebecca Jane, 66, died Tuesday, Dec. 19, 2017. Born in Lexington, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Edna Thompson. She graduated from the University of Kentucky with a masters in art education and a member of the Alpha Delta Pi Sorority. Survivors are two sisters, Carol Jean Thompson Brooks, Lexington, and Margaret Thompson Drewall, Chicago, IL; a brother, Gary Scott Thompson, Lexington; two nieces, Shannon Brooks-English (Richard D.) and Virginia Lindsay Brooks Brugh (Christopher Scott). A graveside service will be 1 p.m. Friday at Lexington Cemetery. Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Friday at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home-Main St. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Lexington Humane Society, 1600 Old Frankfort Pike, Lexington, KY 40504.
