About	Jay Zepeski, age 57 of Roswell Georgia passed away on Wednesday June 7, 2017 after a graceful courageous battle with brain cancer. Jay was born in Dubuque, Iowa and stayed there through high school. He then moved to Denver Colorado where he attended Colorado Mountain College earning a degree in Resort Management. Jay worked many years in Denver at the Fairmont Hotel as the Head Concierge and had the opportunity to meet many famous people along the way. He loved the Rocky Mountains and spent many a day with his first three children hiking and climbing in the mountains Jay soon found a love of working with wood, a craft that was inspired by his father. He later began to build and design rustic furniture and décor. He was a skilled and respected craftsman/carpenter among the antique and flea market community. His work has been featured in many shows and is on display in several public places. He had an incredible sense of humor and was loved by many. He was always available to lend a helping hand. He was a loving father to eight beautiful children who will always look up to him. Jay was preceded in death by his father, Norman Zepeski. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 20 years Sondra, his mother Merry Zepeski, Brother Dave Zepeski (Kay), Sons Zachary Zepeski (Haley), Zach Mixdorf (Sommer) Nate Mixdorf, & Justin Mixdorf, Daughters Taylor Zepeski, Kaitlin VanSciver (Micah), Myra Mixdorf, & Ayla Mixdorf; and 5 grandchildren Mari, McKenzee, Madden, Cooper & Aria Memorial Services will be held June 12, 2017 at the Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter-day Saints 5995 Spalding Drive, Norcross Ga 30092. Family receiving visitors 2:30pm to 3:15pm in the Relief Society Room. Memorial Service starts 3:30 pm. For those not in Georgia and/or who would like to, there will be a Celebration of Life event July 15, 2017 in Dubuque Iowa at Happy's 2323 Rockdale Road Dubuque Iowa from 4:00pm to 7:00pm. In lieu of flowers you may make a donation to St Jude's in his name for the kids with cancer. Jay had a passion for helping the kids at St Jude's
